Jay-Z Closes Out ‘Jay-Z 30’ Concert Series With Star-Studded Finale
Jay-Z wrapped up his yearlong “Jay-Z 30” concert series Saturday night with the second of two shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The celebration, which began at the Roots Picnic in late May, featured guest appearances from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Too Short. Dre and Snoop performed a medley including “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.” Addressing social media criticism about attendance, Jay-Z told the crowd during closer “Encore”: “People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes. You can see.” The rapper also warned audiences about misinformation, saying, “This world with AI and everything…they called it propaganda before.” Questions surrounding a new album and a Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance remain unanswered.
