Taylor Swift, Madonna Dominate The 2026 MTV VMAs

Madonna led all winners at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, taking home seven trophies Sunday night. She and Sabrina Carpenter claimed best collaboration, and Madonna earned artist of the year. “I spent the last year and a half finding myself, believing in myself, and making the music I want to make,” she said. Taylor Swift won video of the year, dedicating the award to Dolly Parton. Swift also received the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors, presented by Dakota Johnson. Nirvana was honored with the Video Vanguard Award. Lisa won best pop for “Dream,” and Sienna Spiro was named best new artist. Snoop Dogg hosted the ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
