Ted Lasso’s long-awaited return shattered Apple TV+ records, with the Season 4 premiere drawing 296.6 million minutes watched over August 4-5. Nielsen confirmed it is the biggest launch in Apple TV+ history, surpassing all previous Ted Lasso seasons and hit titles like Severance and Pluribus. On August 5 alone, the show became the most-streamed program in the U.S., logging over 200 million minutes. The premiere also reached 7.1 million estimated views based on its 42-minute runtime. Set three years after Season 3, Jason Sudeikis returns as Ted, now coaching a second-division women’s football team. Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift also return alongside several new cast members.
