Jennifer Lopez’s Child Emme Debuts New Name At Graduation

Jennifer Lopez’s 18-year-old child, formerly known publicly as Emme Muñiz, graduated high school using the name Oskar Jacob Muñiz. A Windward School social media post celebrating college decisions identified the graduate as Oskar and tagged his private Instagram account, which uses he/him pronouns. Oskar will attend Sarah Lawrence College this fall to study theater and studio arts. Lopez attended the graduation ceremony with her mother Guadalupe Rodríguez and Samuel Affleck, son of her former husband Ben Affleck. Oskar’s twin brother Max also celebrated the milestone, though their father Marc Anthony was absent. Lopez has not publicly commented on the name change but recently told Jimmy Kimmel Live she has been “crying for two months” about both twins preparing to leave home for college.
