B100 Presents Locking In Hope
B100, the City of Kamloops, and the Kamloops Food Bank present Locking In Hope.
The Kamloops Food Bank provides food services for thousands of individuals within our local community and we need your help. The Locking-In Hope fundraiser will provide the Food Bank with the funds necessary to continue essential operations, while providing the community with a common ground in which to showcase your support and admiration for those who reside here.
Set along the Rivers Trail at the entry to Riverside Park, with Mount Peter in the background, the Locking-In Hope art installation will serve as a visually appealing public reminder of the dedication this community has in supporting one another. It will become an ever-evolving conversation piece and focal point within our city where residents and visitors from near and far can come to immerse themselves in the messaging and unique art-forms the locks portray.
Locking-In Hope is about acknowledging how we are all connected, as individuals, families, organizations and as a community. Utilizing the universal ideal and power of HOPE, we can come together to help one another and make positive change.
With your purchase of a $20 Hope Lock, you will be invited to join us, June 6th 2019, from 3pm until 5pm, in the parking lot behind the Sandman Centre in Riverside Park, where you will add your Hope Lock to the art installation.
