RAW VIDEO: Kamloops Council offers rebuke of committee changes
KAMLOOPS — On Thursday (Mar. 17), a number of Kamloops City Council committees saw drastic changes to their makeup, with Mayor Reid Hamer-Jackson relieving multiple councillors from their post as committee chair, and adding a number of citizens to the group including two failed election candidates and a member of his campaign team.

Speaking with CFJC Today about changes made Thursday (Mar. 16) to the committee membership, Reid Hamer-Jackson claimed some of the councillors have not been putting in the work necessary to force change, particularly when it comes to street issues.
On Friday, the eight city councillors stood together in chambers to offer a rebuke to the Mayor, calling out a number of alleged fake claims and demanding a special meeting of council on Tuesday to flesh it out.
