KAMLOOPS — People in Kamloops are able to get around through the city’s transit for free over the weekend until Sunday (August 7).
As the downtown area will see an uptick in foot traffic due to the Ribfest and Hot Nite in the City, free transit is offered to everyone.
“Leave the car at home and leave the driving to BC Transit as our buses deliver you to all the action downtown for free,” the BC Transit release reads.
From Friday (August 5) at 6 p.m. until the end of service on Saturday (August 6), the following routes, departing from the Lansdowne Exchange, will be detoured onto 6th Avenue.
- 6 Downtown Loop
- 9 Gleneagles
- 16 Juniper Ridge
- 17 Dallas
