Rosie O’Donnell’s ‘View’ Return Uncertain Despite Her Claims

Despite Rosie O’Donnell stating she plans to appear on The View’s 30th anniversary season, Entertainment Weekly reports there are “no current plans” for her return. Speaking on the Tangle podcast, O’Donnell said she’d participate “in whatever way they want me,” clarifying it would be “just as a guest.” She also claimed the show is “bringing back all the hosts” for the milestone season. However, EW learned formal invitations have not been issued to former personalities ahead of season 30. O’Donnell also criticized the show’s past management, noting it was “run by a man” despite being created for women. The 64-year-old, who previously clashed with both Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Whoopi Goldberg, said appearing on The View was “not the best use of my talent.”
