‘Toy Story 5’ Holds Box Office Crown As ‘Supergirl’ Stumbles In Debut

Toy Story 5 held the top spot at the box office for a second weekend, earning $70 million domestically. The film now totals $297.2 million domestically and $585 million globally. Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock, opened below expectations with $38 million domestically and $68 million globally against a $170 million budget. Obsession held third with $9.8 million in its seventh weekend. Jackass: Best & Last debuted in a disappointing fourth place with $8.4 million. Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi adventure Disclosure Day rounded out the top five with $8.1 million. Meanwhile, Michael surpassed Oppenheimer to become the highest-grossing biopic ever with $977.4 million.
