Man Previously Accused Of Stalking Billie Eilish Dies In New York Train Accident Category Icon
Prenell Rousseau, who once stalked Billie Eilish, died last week after being struck by a Long Island Rail Road train while jogging near the tracks. Police report no foul play suspected in the apparent accident. In May 2020, Eilish obtained a restraining order against Rousseau after he visited her Los Angeles home seven times uninvited. Court documents revealed Rousseau exhibited “erratic behaviour,” refusing to leave when asked and sitting on the porch reading while delivering monologues. The judge ordered Rousseau to stay 200 yards away from Eilish and her parents. Despite two arrests that week, authorities released him due to COVID-19 policies keeping non-violent offenders from jail. Eilish has faced multiple stalkers, obtaining restraining orders against John Hearle in 2021 and Raymond Black in 2023. She previously stated having “a lot of stalkers” makes her uncomfortable being alone.
