Kamloops Fire Rescue douses early morning fire near Tranquille Road businesses

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue crews were called out to an early morning fire Monday (March 17) near a collection of businesses in the 200-block of Tranquille Road.

The call came in shortly after 4:00 a.m., and firefighters extinguished the flames shortly after arriving on scene.

According to CFJC crews on site, the damage appears to have been contained to a shed between an oil change shop, which shares a parking lot with a Canco gas station.

There’s no official word yet on what started the fire, or whether anybody was injured. CFJC Today will update this story as more information becomes available.
