FALKLAND — Filmmakers Alex Pavlovic and Ivan Gorbenko are asking the public to check out their documentary on Falkland.
The film, entitled Falkland, features interviews with locals and delves into the history of the community and every day life for residents.
“People probably travel a lot through the place, but they don’t know the history,” Pavlovic said, noting the town’s central location in relation Kamloops, Salmon Arm and Vernon.
“They may want to learn more about it, a few hidden gems.”
The documentary is the first in what Pavlovic hopes becomes a series on small towns in B.C.
Falkland is less than an hour’s drive southeast of Kamloops on Highway 97.
