Sagebrush, Tobiano, Talking Rock among Canada’s best golf courses

KAMLOOPS — Three Kamloops-area golf courses have put up some low numbers on the 2023 Score Golf rankings of the top public courses in Canada.
The golf magazine’s rankings are issued every two years, and are based on several criteria, including beauty, design, challenge, strategy and fun factor.
In this year’s edition, Sagebrush Golf Club near Merritt takes the #6 spot. It’s a heady ranking for the facility that recently reopened after a years-long facelift.
Tobiano Golf Course west of Kamloops comes in at #11, up from its #12 spot in 2021.
And Talking Rock Golf Course at Quaaout Lodge and Spa makes a big jump in the rankings, from #55 in 2021 to #27 this year.
Among the other B.C. Interior courses making the Top 59 list are the two courses at Predator Ridge near Vernon coming in at #10 (The Ridge) and #23 (The Predator).
