VIDEO: Kamloops man gets rare video of bobcat encounter

KAMLOOPS — Bobcats are notoriously shy and don’t hang around populated areas very often — though human encounters are certainly not unheard of.
Jan Nademlejnsky of Kamloops had a meet-up with a young bobcat last Friday (Dec. 30) and, luckily for him, had his phone not far away.

According to the description on his YouTube account, Nademlejnsky noticed the feline near an airport hangar, initially thinking it was a domestic cat.
He says the animal appeared to be unable to find a way out of a fenced area before he was able to help it out.
