KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue personnel worked quickly to knock down another fire at an abandoned building Tuesday (Feb. 8).
The blaze broke out at about 5:00 p.m. at the former Montana’s restaurant on Hillside Drive.
Firefighters arrived quickly and knocked down the flames.
This is just the latest blaze in a series at empty and abandoned buildings in Kamloops. Two empty homes in downtown Kamloops were damaged by fire in recent weeks, along with the former Red Sea Auto building on Tranquille Road.
The previous three fires are being investigated as suspicious. There is no word on a cause of Tuesday’s fire at the former Montana’s building.
