Nearly 300 Loon Lake-area properties given all clear status by TNRD
KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) rescinded an evacuation alert to all clear Monday (Aug. 23).
The evacuation alert was lifted for 298 properties in the Loon Lake and Hihium Lake areas as the Sparks Lake wildfire no longer poses an imminent risk to the safety of residents.
Properties affected include:
- 5472 to 5993 3400 Rd.
- 5293 and 5675 342 Rd.
- 5848 Clinton-Loon Lake Forest Service Rd.
- 1810 to 3520 Loon Lake Rd.
- 2970 to 3103 Stevens Rd.
- any other properties within the boundary noted on the attached map

Elsewhere, 14 properties north of Adams Lake that were impacted by the Momich Lake wildfire have gone from evacuation order and alert to all clear.
The evacuation order for 11 properties between 11925 to 12685 Adams West FSR has been rescinded, as has the evacuation alert for three properties: 9681, 9701, and 10045 Adams East FSR.
