KAMLOOPS – A Kamloops woman is recovering from a suspected rattlesnake bite.
According to social media posts, the bite happened Tuesday (July 14) near Cooney Bay on Kamloops Lake.
In an email to CFJC Today, B.C. Emergency Health Services says an Advanced Care Paramedic unit was sent to meet the patient near Aviation Way and Tranquille Road, though that is not where the bite took place.
EHS confirmed the snake bite was suspected to have come from a rattler.
The patient was taken to hospital in stable condition.
