KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Home Depot location on Hillside Drive has closed Tuesday (May 12) due to ground stability concerns.
Vehicles are not being allowed into the store’s parking lot off of Hillside Drive.
According to an emailed statement from Home Depot Canada, the store is closed while an engineering structure assessment of the grounds is undertaken.
Corporate Communications Director Paul Berto says the step is proactive, and is based on “possible ground movement in the surrounding area.”
Berto says it is too soon to speculate when the store might reopen.
