Cheryl’s favourite winery took centrestage this morning as Linda brought in the Cabernet Franc from Fort Berens Estate Winery in Lillooet. Made primarily with grapes from their estate vineyard in Lillooet, the Cabernet Franc is a full-bodied wine with rich, intense fruit flavours. The beautiful, deep red colour with concentrated flavours of cherries, raspberries and black currants makes this wine a perfect match with a rich tomato bolognese pasta, grilled sausages or stuffed roasted peppers. It is ready to drink now or it will age beautifully for many years.
