Linda brought in the Heritage Road Bloodstone Shiraz from Australia for Test A Wine Tuesday. This delicious, well priced Shiraz, features a combination of the fruit aromas of plum and blackberry with spice, pepper and cinnamon which then follows through onto the palate. This is a well-rounded and fruity wine featuring the rich flavours of ripe plum, blackberry jam and spices. Balanced with vanilla and caramel flavours to result in a wine with good depth and intensity. Shiraz is a wonderful wine to couple with food and in particular succulent red meat dished and tomato-based pasta.
