RYAN PHILLIPPE’S EX ELSIE HEWITT FLIES TO LONDON AFTER HE DENIES ABUSE: Model Elsie Hewitt was spotted arriving in London on Wednesday, one day after actor Ryan Phillippe publicly denied her domestic abuse allegations against him. Hewitt claims that Phillippe beat her and threw her down the stairs on July 4th after an argument. On Tuesday, Phillippe took to Twitter, sharing a note that reads in part: “I am saddened and disgusted by the false allegations being circulated about me. At the time these allegations were initially made, I fully cooperated with law enforcement and a thorough investigation was conducted.” Hewitt is suing Phillippe for $1 million.
LAURENCE FISHBURNE AND GINA TORRES SPLIT UP: Black-ish star Laurence Fishburne and his wife Gina Torres quietly broke up last year after 14 years of marriage. “With heavy hearts, Laurence and I quietly separated and began the dissolution of our marriage in the early fall of last year,” said Torres, 48. “There are no bad guys here. Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected.” She continued, “Happily, however, our family remains intact and we will continue to raise our daughter together with love and joy and awe. As well as raise each other up with respect and love and the continued understanding that we’re in this together, if not side by side.” Torres and Fishburne, 56, wed in 2002 and share one child, Delilah. On Tuesday, pictures of Torres kissing another man were published by Page Six.
CEO’S FOUL-MOUTHED TIRADE AGAINST KATHY GRIFFIN CAUGHT ON TAPE: Kathy Griffin’s neighbor reportedly launched an expletive-peppered tirade against her and her boyfriend, Randy Bick, after she called the LAPD to file a noise complaint against him. The Huffington Post reports that KB Home CEO Jeffrey Mezger can be heard shouting homophobic expletives at Griffin and Bick, mocking her shaved head and bringing up the recent controversial photograph of Griffin holding up a fake bloodied Donald Trump mask. “Hey Randy, go f–k yourself. Seriously? You call on my grandkids at 9 o’clock? You’re not even the f—ing owner. You’re stuck with a f—ing bald d–e who Donald Trump kind of put the heat on,” Mezger can be heard shouting in the video. “Now you’re calling the cops? F–k you and f–k Kathy. You’re not our f—ing neighbor, you’re a f—ing a—–e.” Griffin recently shaved her head in solidarity with her sister Joyce Griffin, who died of cancer last week.

She tells Entertainment Weekly that appearing in the reboot “actually cost” her money. “They’re like do your own glam and I got the dress and all that and then you submit the bills for it because I’m part of your movie. PAMELA ANDERSON ADMITS SHE ISN’T DATING JULIAN ASSANGE: Yeah, no. Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson admits that those rumors of her dating Wikileaks founder Julian Assange are incorrect. On Good Morning Britain, the 50-year-old said that she “loves” Assange but wouldn’t characterize their relationship as a love match. “I wouldn’t call it romance, I already have romance in my life. Can one man do it all?” When host Piers Morgan pressed her, she said: “I love him, but I have a romantic partner.”
REAL-LIFE RAGING BULL BOXER JAKE LAMOTTA DIES: Boxing legend Jake LaMotta died Tuesday at age 95. The retired boxer, whose memoir inspired the 1980 film Raging Bull, died in a nursing home after complications from pneumonia, LaMotta’s wife, Denise Baker, said. Another family member said LaMotta was ailing over the past few weeks, and “worsened considerably” this week. The boxer’s daughter, Christi LaMotta, confirmed her dad’s death in a Facebook post Tuesday. LaMotta was born in the Bronx, New York, to Italian immigrant parents, and started his professional boxing career at age 19. He was nicknamed “The Raging Bull” due to his aggressive style of fighting. LaMotta published Raging Bull: My Story in 1970. Martin Scorsese adapted the memoir and cast Robert De Niro as LaMotta, Joe Pesci as LaMotta’s brother, Joey LaMotta, and Cathy Moriarty as LaMotta’s first wife, Vickie LaMotta.
REVENGE OF THE NERDS ACTOR BERNIE CASEY DIES: Actor Bernie Casey has died at the age of 78. The actor reportedly died peacefully yesterday surrounded by loved ones in a Los Angeles hospital after recently falling ill. Casey starred in over 80 movies including Revenge of the Nerds, in which he played the head of the Lambda Lambda Lambda fraternity, U.N. Jefferson, and I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, in which he played neighborhood activist John Slade. He was also in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. In addition to acting, Bernie played in the NFL as a Pro Bowl wide receiver in the ‘60s.
